Scam warning - Notice from LG SA.
NOTICE
“LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd (LGESA) has learned of several emails and sms`s currently in circulation which falsely claim that the recipient of the email or sms has won a sum of money from LGESA. The communication appears to look official but it is not official.
LGESA hereby informs all recipients of such communication that the communication is not generated by LGESA. It is suspected that the communication is a hoax and/or a scam intended to abuse the credibility of LGESA and/or possibly commit a fraudulent transaction on the recipient of the communication.
LGESA cautions all recipients against disclosing any personal and/or confidential information in response to such communication as LGESA will not be held liable for any resultant loss.”
